i-CREATe

i-CREATe is the pre-eminent annual academic conference of CREATe Asia Alliance. It was held in Shanghai, China in 2010 and 2018 with over 1,000 participants from 18 countries in attendance and is slated to be held once again in China in 2024, to be attended by Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand, with Professor Yu Hongliu as the general chair of the conference.

The International Conference on Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology (i-CREATe) is held annually in different countries in Asia and is Asia's largest rehabilitation engineering conference with international influence. i-CREATe is the main academic and information exchange platform hosted by the Asian Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Alliance. It is also the alliance’s annual academic conference.

International rehabilitation assistive devices (rehabilitation devices) are developing in the direction of AI and in the future, rehabilitation robots will become increasingly important in the rehabilitation assistive device industry and an integral technical support to cope with the aging demographic. Advances in rehabilitation science, technology and clinical practice are changing the lives of many patients and helping them reintegrate into society.
