Summit on Humanoid Robot and Rehabilitation Engineering

Humanoid robots have a structure similar to humans, and they are able to achieve bipedal walking and equipped with agile robotic arms to perform various operations. In recent years, with the development of artificial intelligence technology, humanoid robots have become increasingly capable of perceiving and understanding the surrounding environment, and completing tasks through autonomous learning. They can work in the environment where humans work and live, operate tools and equipment designed for humans, and communicate with humans. Humanoid robots have a wide range of applications in the field of medical rehabilitation due to their powerful functions. For example, humanoid robots can drive the patient's limbs to achieve active and passive rehabilitation training to assist the patient in restoring motor function; Humanoid robots also can mimic human behavior and achieve cognitive rehabilitation for brain injury patients through verbal or nonverbal interaction with them. In addition, humanoid robots can achieve diverse nursing functions, such as assisting patients in movement and helping long-term bedridden patients retrieve and deliver items. Therefore, this conference has established a forum on humanoid robots and rehabilitation engineering to explore the core technologies and application prospects of humanoid robots in rehabilitation, nursing and other fields to promote the application of humanoid robots in the field of rehabilitation engineering.

Summit on International Rehabilitation Industry and Investment

Summit on International Rehabilitation Industry and Investment is jointly organized by the Specialty Committee of Rehabilitation Engineering and Industry of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (CARM), the Specialty Committee of Rehabilitation Equipment of the China Association of Assistive Products (CAAP), and the Coalition of Rehabilitation Engineering and Technology, Asia (CREATe Asia). This international forum aims to bring together professionals from governments, enterprises, universities, research institutions, hospitals and investment organizations in the rehabilitation industry from all over the world. It seeks to analyze the current status and trends of new technologies and industry development in rehabilitation equipment, and to collaboratively explore the future innovative development of the rehabilitation equipment industry. The goal of the summit is to promote technological innovation and application of rehabilitation equipment and further advance the development of the rehabilitation industry. This is the largest domestic forum that integrates "government, industry, academia, research, and medical" sectors. It is also an international gala of the rehabilitation equipment industry, with presentations by seasoned experts and scholars, as well as global industry resource integration across sectors.

Summit on Caring Robots for Hi-tech Elderly-caring

China is facing a shortage of medical resources and nursing staff. With the intensification of China's aging population, the issue of caring for disabled elderly people has brought heavy pressure to society and families. The use of intelligent nursing robot products to care for disabled elderly people is an effective solution. Designing more intelligent and safer care robots to help the elderly complete daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, bed and chair transfer, urination, and eating will help alleviate the shortage of nursing staff and medical resources, improve the quality and efficiency of medical and nursing services, and have broad market prospects and enormous commercial value. A forum on intelligent nursing robots has been established for this conference, inviting well-known experts, scholars, and business professionals from all over the world to explore the key technologies and application prospects of intelligent nursing robots to promote the application of nursing robots.

Summit on Traditional Chinese Medicine Intelligent Rehabilitation

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) rehabilitation therapies are grounded in the foundational theories of TCM, adopting a holistic perspective and treatments tailored to individual diagnoses. These methods, refined over millennia, have evolved into a comprehensive system encompassing techniques such as massage (tuina), acupuncture, qigong, traction, cupping, herbal remedies, dietary therapy, and medicinal baths.Globally, such practices are recognized as alternative or complementary medicine, offering supplemental options to conventional Western treatments. This broad category includes meditation, hypnosis, homeopathy, massage, aromatherapy, and vitamin therapy, with traditional herbal treatments and acupuncture among the noted methods. With advancements in technology and artificial intelligence, intelligent rehabilitation is emerging as a superior alternative to traditional approaches, boasting benefits such as objectivity, measurability, efficiency, and energy conservation. Intelligent rehabilitation equipment is now a staple in rehabilitation hospitals, centers, and wellness facilities worldwide. As Traditional Chinese rehabilitation practices garner international attention, they have become a focus for professionals in rehabilitation medicine. This forum is dedicated to the integration of traditional and modern principles, merging medical knowledge with engineering innovations, to enhance the clinical application of rehabilitation engineering.

Summit on Standards Leading the Integration of Rehabilitation Medicine and Industry

The landscape of rehabilitation has evolved beyond the era focused on developing physiotherapy devices, electric aids, wheelchairs, high-end prosthetics, and orthotics made from advanced materials. Today, the sector is moving towards the incorporation of more human-centered designs, neural modulation technologies, brain-computer interfaces, high-precision sensors, microchips, artificial intelligence algorithms, and virtual reality software. These modern rehabilitation engineering technologies are transitioning from meeting clinical needs to be subjects of engineering research, development, and market application, progressively embracing intelligence. One of the significant challenges in this field is the clinical standardization of rehabilitation engineering devices and systems. This includes setting industry standards, group standards, and reaching a consensus among clinical experts for technologies such as neural modulation, brain-computer interfaces, and rehabilitation robots. The forum seeks to engage clinical practitioners in rehabilitation medicine, professionals in engineering R&D, technical staff from rehabilitation equipment companies, and researchers in the field of rehabilitation at large. By focusing on the standardization of intelligent rehabilitation engineering technology, the forum aims to harness the strengths of clinical practice to guide and standardize the healthy development of rehabilitation engineering. This effort is intended to benefit a vast array of patients and individuals with disabilities.
